Purpose and Values
"Shaping a Sustainable Digital Future" was the second edition of Prada Group’s "Shaping a Future" conversations.
This year’s conference explored the relationship between sustainability and digital innovation. Our guest speakers examined how technology contributes to the sustainable development of business and society, and reflected on the pressing risks posed by technology’s onward march.
Nicholas Negroponte, Chairman Emeritus, MIT Media Lab delivered a powerful keynote speech, covering the fascinating interplay of capitalism, entrepreneurship, democracy, education, culture, ‘groupthink’ and new ways of thinking about technology.
Conference Agenda
A full morning discussion, moderated by professors of the two universities, with business leaders and representatives of institutions and international organizations debating the topic and adding their inspiring insights and experience.
The "Shaping a Future" cultural appointments have been designed to incorporate insights from younger generations.
The Schools of Management of Politecnico di Milano and Yale Center for Customer Insights have conducted a student contest and the finalists took part in a Hackathon, with the objective of enriching the Conference’s discussion.
The students' experience
The project “Being” is proposing a service that conserves and regenerates cultural heritage, by using Artificial Intelligence to sort existing data through the lens of culture.
Creating location-based profiles, the service supports businesses while empowering governments to track trends and redirect resources.
