Milan, 17 June 2020 - Prada S.p.A. signs a new ESG loan with leading global Japanese bank Mizuho. This is the second sustainability-linked funding in a row: the previous one, which saw the company as the first player in the luxury sector to settle this agreement, was signed with Crédit Agricole. Both facilities monitor the achievement of specific targets: the number of stores given a LEED Gold or Platinum Certification, the amount of training hours provided for employees and the use of regenerated nylon in the brand’s collections. Moreover, the two loans demonstrate how sustainability is integrated in the strategy of the company.
