Milan, 10^th February 2023 – On the occasion of the International Day of Women in Science, Fondazione Gianni Bonadonna, with the support of Prada Group, and Fondazione AIRC announced the winner of the second edition of the Call for international Fellowship, named in memory of the pioneer of medical oncology, Gianni Bonadonna.

The young hematologist and researcher Eleonora Calabretta has been awarded a Fellowship that will allow her to spend a three-year training period in a renowned international research center, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. There she will study diffuse large B cell lymphoma, to learn innovative approaches to cancer, and carry out her research program, with the goal of offering more effective treatments to patients affected by the disease.

In view of the confirmed participation of young physicians in this initiative and the quality of the innovative projects evaluated, Fondazione Gianni Bonadonna and Fondazione AIRC are excited to announce the third edition of the Call for “Gianni Bonadonna” Fellowship 2023. The new Call will be published in the upcoming months on the institutional websites of FGB and AIRC.
