Brief note on the SEA BEYOND educational programme
From 2020, part of the proceeds from the Prada Re-Nylon collection supports the SEA BEYOND project, an educational programme on ocean preservation conducted by the Prada Group in partnership with UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission. The Group truly believes in educating the younger generation on this complex and impactful matter. Over the past 2 years, SEA BEYOND has trained more than 600 students from international secondary schools. In 2021, with the launch of the second edition of the project, two more initiatives have been added: “The Kindergarten of the Lagoon" in Venice - a programme of outdoor lessons for pre-school children - and a training activity on ocean literacy for the Group’s 13,000+ employees.
