    Prada Invites is the series of projects in collaboration with outstanding creative minds revolving around the universe of nylon, foundational fabric of Prada today, inaugurated during the Men’s Fall/Winter 2018 fashion show and continued with Women’s Spring/Summer 2019 fashion show.

    FIRST EDITION Design process

    The first edition of Prada Invites manifests four radically different approaches that investigate the poetic, practical, technical and aesthetic aspect of nylon thought the creative minds of the architects and designers Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Konstantin Grcic, Herzog & de Meuron and Rem Koolhaas.

    SECOND EDITION Design process

    For Spring/Summer 2019, Prada has invited Cini Boeri, Elizabeth Diller and Kazuyo Sejima, a trio of leading female architects, to create unique clothing or accessory for women crafted from Prada’s emblematic nylon fabric. Created by women, for women, the second chapter of Prada Invites expands the brand’s ongoing fascination with multifaceted representations of contemporary femininity.
