The Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Genoa – a global leader in the field of architecture, responsible for iconic designs including the Whitney Museum (USA), The Shard (London) and the Centre Georges Pompidou (Beaubourg) in Paris - chose Prada’s industrial sites in the Valdarno area of Tuscany for the studio's annual introductory trip around significant architectural works.
The group was met in Valvigna and accompanied by the Prada Engineering team on a thorough tour of the interior and exterior of the Management Centre, including in-depth explanation of the design and architectural concepts behind the ‘garden factory’ and how these are a common feature in Prada's industrial building strategy. After Valvigna, the 60 participants continued their trip with a visit to the New Logistics Hub in Levanella.
