Augmented Sunset is the title of the reportage recorded after the Prada Resort 2019 fashion show.
The images realized at Piano Factory, Prada USA New York headquarters, frame models in striking, expressionist panes of scarlet, created by walls of red plexiglass. The effect is a simulacra of a sunset, a synthetic recreation of a natural phenomenon. Inside Piano Factory - the Herzog & de Meuron’s architecture, undressed to the precise, pure concrete structure - these images challenge the divides between interior and exterior, between real and imagined, in a blurring of horizons.
