Prada presents Cabins , the new pop-up installation available from 18 to 24 April in Tokyo at the prestigious Isetan Shinjuku department store.
The concept shows an interpretation of a seaside resort, evoking the relaxed and leisurely atmosphere typical of summer vacations.
A sequence of beach cabins made of raw wood, are displayed on a podium which is a nod to the idea of the floating dock. Cabins are decorated with vertical stripe motifs inspired by Prada's archive collections or with the brand's iconic prints.
Completing the space, the 1950s wicker armchairs, the display elements made with blunt wooden trunks and the raw wood floor featuring the iconic black and white checkerboard pattern.
The pop-up installation is presented both in The Stage space on the ground floor that is dedicated to leather goods and accessories, and in the space on the second floor dedicated to footwear.
