On the occasion of Salone del Mobile 2019, Prada held a cocktail reception at its boutique inside Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Milan, to celebrate the launch of “Prada Invites”, the series of projects in collaboration with outstanding creative minds revolving around the universe of nylon, foundational material of Prada.

The Milan store presented a dedicated installation showing the items of the three female architects Cini Boeri, Elizabeth Diller and Kazuyo Sejima for Spring/Summer 2019 and their different design approaches and styles.

To mark the occasion, Prada collaborated with Google allowing guests to experience a 3D virtual reality: during the event, artist Anna Zhilyaeva performed live by creating a virtual landscape inspired by the city of Milan and the item designed by Cini Boeri by using Tilt Brush, the virtual reality application developed by Google to paint within three-dimensional spaces.
Through special 3D viewers, guests were also able to explore the final artwork from different angles and in real time.

The project will continue in Tokyo on April 19, in London on April 24, in Berlin on April 25 and will end in New York on May 1.
