On 5 February 2019, Prada has inaugurated a new store within the prestigious Artz Pedregal department store in Mexico City.
The space occupies a total area of 415 square meters on a single floor and houses the women’s and men’s collections of ready to wear, leather goods, footwear and accessories.
The internal façade is characterized by a wide portal in green Aver marble, which frames the entrance and the windows, offering a glimpse of the atmosphere of the spaces within.
The public area is distinguished by walls in canvas panels in shades of green, enriched with display shelves and chests of drawers in green Aver marble, and defined by a black and white marble chequered floor - inspired by the historic Prada shop in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan- , metal display counters and plexiglass tables.
These special productions pay tribute to the masters of Milanese design of the ‘50s and include the chairs of Osvaldo Borsani and the tables and armchairs designed by Giò Ponti, assuring an elegant and refined environment.
