The Metaenergia Group is to supply green, renewable energy to all of the Prada Group’s industrial and commercial premises in Italy. The agreement, valid for five years, also involves developing innovative energy-efficiency projects and investing in efficiency and energy-saving measures for all of the Prada Group’s industrial and retail sites, working alongside Metaenergia’s Energy Service Company (E.S.Co.). Feasibility studies are currently underway for installing photovoltaic cogeneration and trigeneration plants, as well as intelligent management systems to optimise consumption levels at Prada’s facilities.
Preliminary analysis of just some of these projects forecasts energy savings that will avoid 1,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions a year.
