The 6th edition of “Miu Miu Women’s Tales Conversations”, was presented during the section “Venice Days” of the Venice Film Festival and dedicated to the challenges faced in film and media careers. Debates were held on September 1st and 2nd at the Spazio Fondazione Ente dello Spettacolo of the Venice Lido Hotel Excelsior and moderated by The Gentlewoman Editor in Chief Penny Martin.
The Miu Miu women who joined the conversations are: Celia Rowlson-Hall – choreographer, cinematographer, dancer and director of The (End) of History Illusion, 14th chapter of Miu Miu Women’s Tales -, Chloë Sevigny – actress and filmmaker and director of Carmen, 13th chapter of Miu Miu Women’s Tales shown again in Venice -, Kate Bosworth – producer and actress (The Horse Whisperer, Still Alice...) -, actresses Laura Harrier, Kiernan Shipka and Rowan Blanchard and, during the closing afternoon, Tavi Gevinson, founder and Editor in Chief of ‘Rookie’, and eclectic editor of literary magazine, Paris Review, Hailey Gates, also protagonist of the Twin Peaks series by David Lynch and model of a Miu Miu campaign.
