At the Pink Ribbon Campaign for breast cancer awareness and prevention, promoted by the Lega Italiana per la Lotta contro i Tumori (Italian League for the Fight against Tumours - LILT), Miuccia Prada received the “LILT for Women” prize in recognition of her commitment to promoting messages and initiatives and backing projects related to culture, art, social issues and medical research. The award was presented on September 26, 2018, during the campaign’s traditional launch event at Palazzo Marino, Milan’s city hall, attended by Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala and a large number of people from local institutions and the media.
