Milan, 18 March 2020 – LILT (The Italian League in the fight against cancer) Milan and Monza Brianza have disposed of medical material, consisting of 5 lung ventilators and 21,000 surgical masks, to the San Gerardo Hospital in Monza, to help with the Coronavirus emergency.
It is the first result of the fundraising launched last March 12 by LILT Milan and Monza Brianza in support to hospitals and cancer patients; an initiative which in seven days has collected over 60,000 euros. Miuccia Prada - awarded in 2018 with the LILT for Women award - has doubled the amount reached so far with a personal donation.
