Milan, 23 July 2020 - Miu Nova is the original series of pop-up stores in mainland China celebrating Miu Miu’s new sneakers collection. Taking inspiration from matelassé, the rubber soles of the new Miu Miu sneakers playfully reproduce the plump, rippled surface of the elaborately worked and luxurious skin in an unexpected form. Uppers are realized in soft fabrics, and colours palette includes black, white, grey, pistachio and pink. Miu Nova pop-up offers also a variety of crystal bags and small accessories. Characterised by a design playing between gentle shapes and rounded volumes and centering around a metal gazebo, Miu Nova pop-up stores land first in Shenzhen on July, followed by Beijing (August) and Nanjing (September).
To celebrate the Miu Nova opening at Shenzhen Mixc, Miu Miu hosted a cocktail on July 16^th attended by, amongst other notable guests, actresses Zhou Ye and Ren Min, influencers Irene Lin, Rita Wang and Rui, and model Jiaye Wu.
