Milan, 28^th April 2021 - Today, Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana published the "Good Manufacturing Practices - Guidelines on the use of chemicals in the fashion manufacturing supply chain".
The document, sponsored by the Ministry of Ecological Transformation, adds to the indications already disclosed in previous years on the use of chemical substances in products and production processes and aims to help companies implement criteria, requirements and controls that allow them to carry out products that comply with the most advanced sustainability requirements, acting according to manufacturing practices that minimize environmental and social risks.
The Prada Group - member of the CNMI’s Chemicals Commission together with Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Valentino and Versace - despite the health emergency, continued its collaboration in 2020 with multiple remote meetings to actively contribute to the development of the themes above.
