Milan, 10^th June 2024 - Fondazione Gianni Bonadonna, with Prada Group as supporting partner, announces the call for applications for a renewed international post-doctoral fellowship in honor of Gianni Bonadonna in collaboration with the European School of Oncology. The awarded of the fellowship will study abroad for a one-year period in an international center of excellence in oncology. The new call for applications is reserved for physicians enrolled in the last 18 months of graduate programs specializing in medical oncology or hematology, and for neo-specialists within two years of receiving their degree.

The renewed Fellowship program in honor of Gianni Bonadonna continues Fondazione Gianni Bonadonna’s commitment in supporting the training of new generations of medical researchers in oncology. Gianni Bonadonna was a leading figure in the Italian and international panorama of oncological medicine and influenced the approach to cancer therapy of entire generations of doctors in Italy and around the world: the Fellowship named for him wants to be an effective contribution to train a new generation of physician-scientists in oncology, strongly believing that the ability of knowing the language of basic science and of clinical research is key to translate new research findings into better therapies for cancer patients.

Applications for the Gianni Bonadonna Fellowship ed. 2024 can be sent from June 10^th until July 31^st.
