Milan, June 14^th, 2023 - At the end of 2022, the Prada Group in collaboration with the Vision+ Onlus ETS organization offered free eye screening to the children of its Milanese employees, aimed at detecting eye diseases and disorders in kindergarten children as early as possible. Through this initiative, the Group helped support Vision+ ONLUS ETS in donating medical supplies for the ophthalmology operating room at the medical center in the small village of Andasibè, Madagascar. Glasses and lenses were also purchased to ensure the proper functioning of the optical laboratory.

The "Andasibe - Madagascar" Project - which up to now has focused on strengthening the eye care center run by Vision+ Onlus ETS at the Change Onlus Hospital in Andasibè (ophthalmic outpatient clinic, optical laboratory, operating room) - aims as a future goal to offer continuous ophthalmological care with teleconsultation, through computer platform and clinical instrumentation, while continuing to ensure the training of local ophthalmic medical workers.
